a group of my family is looking at June 06 for a Boston/Bermuda sailing. NCL is offering a island dine-a-round option for $5 more for lunch and I believe $10 for dinner. have any of you tried this? Also wondering if you tried any of the golf options. They don't take advance reservation and some of us are afraid to wait until we arrive. But the prices are much better through the cruise line for golf.
I tried it for lunch, and many Bermuda restaurants honored it. But, the restaurant in question had a limited menu for the NCL promotion. I'd say it was definately worth it.
Yeah, if the food is very delicious in the restaurant, although the menu is very limited, yeah, of course, it is worth it. Rgds, Algogo.com Camera,Cellphone,MP3/MP4,Electronics store
Yes, we've used the Dine-Ashore coupons for lunch. This is a great option on N. Majesty cruise as you may find yourself far from the ship at lunchtime, and Bermuda is expensive. You'll still have to pay for drinks, but it's still a very good deal.
You will get a brochure when you board that indicates the restaurants that honor the program, along with their menus and hours. It was easy to carry this with us.
A few things to note. As some mentioned, some restaurants offer a limited menu. So, you need to state upfront that you are with the NCL program. Also, coupons are given only to passengers age 12 and over. And, if you don't use your coupons, return them to the purser's desk for a cabin credit, as the $5 per person charge is made automatically.
