I heard this is the last year that the Noreigan Majesty is sailing out of my Boston. My friend said it was due to the fact that they sailed during 3 hurricanes. Is this the reason?

The Dream will sail Bermuda itineraries next summer from Boston. The Dream is a larger ship, has more and better suites and at least some balcony cabins. You could argue if that's better or not, as I enjoyed my Bermuda cruise on the Majesty a few years ago.
Meanwhile, the Majesty will be sailing to Bermuda next summer from Charleston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. From all these home ports the Majesty would have to sail through the same hurricanes as if it had sailed from Boston.
Shucks, even the Dream will have to too.

So, I don't think hurricanes had anything to do with the change of homeports or ships. I think NCL wanted to give New England passengers a different onboard experience while at the same time use it's smaller ship, the Majesty, from smaller homeports.
