I am off on the Crown for Christmas and New year, leaving Valparaiso on the 18th December. Spending 2 nights in the Santiago de Chile Sheraton before the cruise and 2 nights in the Buenos Aires Sheraton after the cruise. I am flying out of the UK with Iberia.
No, I am not on that cruise - but having done the exact same itinerary not too long ago, I stayed at the same hotels you have chosen for both pre and post-cruise. Good choices! What a wonderful way to spend the holidays. Nancy
Hi Goldryder Santiago is a beautiful cosmopolitan city. its hotel is located near hill San Cristobal,it have on funicular, cableway, Zoological and restaurant. To one hour of the city this the town of Pirque, in this place it finds the the more pretty vineyards of Chile CONCHA Y TORO the Providencia district is a place where there are very good restaurants and commercial centers, downtown is the old part, where are museums, the government house, the market central and the palaces of century XIX The Central Market is a typical place of the city, is a construction of years 1800 where the fruits and the products of the sea are commercialized. In this place there are very good restaurants, a the best is "Donde Agusto" I recommend to you that make tour by the city,a good company can put a car to its Disposition with a guide in english.
