I was wondering how long your bags are kept after you board the ship? We are driving to Miami from Michigan and will want to take a shower once we boaard, so I pack those amenities seperatly.

I always advise putting a change of clothing in your carry-on bags. Your main luggage may not show up at your cabin until late afternoon. They are constantly transferring luggage from the pier to the ship but it takes a while to sort it and then get it to the proper deck and cabin.

Bring a carry on as it takes a few hours before you bags will be delivered on any ship
