I know you can't take alcohol on board, but we plan on ordering a bar set up in our room. Can you take margarita mix on board?

I was just told by the cruise help line that yes, you can bring liquids but, it is officially against company policy. He told me that if someone is having a bad day, they can confiscate any liquids and say it is company policy.
