I'm a Canadian resident and just got a job onboard NCL. It's not their NCL American Brand ship. I just want to know how the working conditions are? I got a job as a Casino Cashier and heard it's a 10 month contract. I don't want to go if it's not worth it. I use to work for RCL and it was a 6 month contract and they never had to work while in port. Is it worth going????? Please advise if you know.
Canadians are GREAT people!!! It's a lot of you in NCL and as a norwegian I loved working with you. 99% of all canadians I have met is genuine friendly, honest and very humouristic people.
I hope you will enjoy working for NCL as much I did!!
Hello, I worked at NCL and had a friend who was a casino cashier. I believe it is one the lowest paid positions in the casino. My friend hated it after 3 days and after 3 months (once she had saved enough money for the ticket plus some more) she was gone. Of course it was her first time working on a cruise ship.
She didn't like the shifts and she had to share a room with 3 more people.
It's up to you but I think you could find better paid positions
