Hi, Iv'e cruised before on RC and Holland and loved both of those lines. I cruised once on Carnival and was disappointed. The service and food were not as good as the other two and there was less to do on the ship. My question is : Do you think I will like NCL? I want good service and to feel a little pampered. I enjoy dressing up for dinner. What do you think?

NCL-free style cruising-is GREAT!!! My recent 11 day Hawaii cruise,I was spoiled on the Wind!!! Many folks dressed up for meals, and in evening. But it can be casual too. Service excellent, ports great, activities very good and well planned!!! Food good to excellent, entertainment fantastic-in short a superb experience!!! others I met who sailed on other lines said the same thing!!!! I am planning my next cruise now on NCL....

If you just dined at th emain restaurants, the food experience will be just as good as the other lines. But if you dined at the surcharged speciality restaurant just once during a cruise, the food experience will exceed the other lines.
Then imagine what your experience would be when you do that more than once.

You don't get dancing waiters or desert parades at dinner on NCL ships. But you do get choices between the different restaurants.
