We are cruising on the Dream in Sept to New England. I would appreciate any comments good or bad about this trip, the ship, special places to see , etc. Have visited most of the ports by car except Sydney and Corner Brook. What can you tell me about them? Thanks , M.J.

Will be interested to seeing the responces, I am taking the October 5th sailing of the Dream.

First time since the change to "Freestyle Cruising."

Can't wait -- looking forward to taking the excursion to Gros Morne National Park at Cornerbrook, Newfoundland.

Where did you find info on the GMNat. Park? And also, what do you know about Sydney? We have done free style cruising before and love it. It is relaxing and enjoyable, no schedules unless you wish special arrangements. Relaxed dress code. We loved it on the Rennaisance Line, unfortunately they are in bankruptcy but may be making a comeback.

Here is the official website ...

Finally all paid in full -- now the waiting begins before the documents arrive ... then the hard part -- waiting for departure day!

In Nov, we were in port with Star's inaugural cruise and the folks we talked with did not like the Freestyle dining since, on their ship, almost no one was willing to pony up for the extra fees and the dining room was over capacity as a result. Latecomers had no choice but to choose another restaurant. Word to the wise: get to dinner early if you want the regular dining room!!
