is there a difference between the ad suites on norwegian spirit vs the ac suites on the norwegian spirit

Here's some information about the Suites on the Norwegian Spirit.

AA Owner's Suite (Deck 9 aft)
This suite features floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony, living room with dining table, separate bedroom with queen size bed, refrigerator, wet-bar, and luxury bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower. Butler service and concierge available. 530 sq. ft., balcony 75 sq. ft.
AB Deluxe Penthouse Suite (Deck 10 forward)
Floor to ceiling glass doors which open to a private balcony. Sitting area, dining area with table, separate bedroom with queen size bed, refrigerator, wet-bar, and luxury bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower. Butler service and concierge available. 440 sq. ft., balcony 115 sq. ft.
AC Penthouse Suite (Deck 10, port & starboard)
This suite features floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a private balcony, sitting area, dining area with table, bedroom with queen-size bed, refrigerator, and luxury bath with whirlpool tub and shower. Butler service and concierge available. 330 - 352 sq. ft., balcony 84 sq. ft.
AD Penthouse Suite (Deck 9 aft)

The AD Suites are located aft on the Spirit, the AC Suites aren't.

thanks for the answer! This will be my first cruise and I am not very familiar with what to expect. What is meant by the "aft" and does it really make a difference in price?

Aft means an aft facing balcony overlooking the prop wash. They are highly prized, although you're looking aft, you get to see the scenery pass by that's on both sides of the ship.
You'll get the same views forward. But a forward balcony can be windy when the ship is underway.

Usually, the first cabins to be sold out are the aft facing ones.
