NCL has just confirmed that "Pride of Aloha" will revert to "Norwegian Sky". The ship will commence three- and four-night cruises out of Miami in mid-July.
It'll wet dock in the Miami area over 4 weeks, that's a long time for "routine" maintenance.
I imagine a completely refurbished ship when it reenters service in mid-July.
NCL is also going to have a Kids Sail Free Promotion for just the Sky (fares free only, not the taxes and fuel surcharges) attempting to attract more passengers considering the relatively short booking time.
If the NCL Sky pricing gets any lower on many dates they'll be paying people to cruise. I understood the move from the Hawaii market was an attempt to make the ship profitable. I don't know how well that plan is working out for them. If you've wanted an ultra cheap cruise to the Bahamas, this is your ship.
