Hi- We just booked a Supirior inside stateroom on the Sun for a 7 day cruise. We've been on a Carnival w/window before. Is the inside stateroom decent or should I upgrade?
The Superior Inside Staterooms on N. Sun are approximately 190 square feet and many have a single sofabed for the third person. I haven't seen them first-hand, so hopefully we'll get some feedback from past pax.
Upgrading won't necessarily get you a larger cabin. The standard oceanviews are 145 square feet. With three people (which I'm assuming from your screen name), I'd take more space than a window. I speak from experience.
The last time I was on the Sun we had the same room....there was a little couch that made into a small bed....when it's extended it doesn't leave much room to roam:-)...3 in a room usually is crowded unless it's a suite...but it's always manageable....The Sun is a nice ship and you will enjoy yourself...we were just on the Pearl in an inside room and it was much smaller than the room on the Sun...New doesn't always means better....
Happy Sailing,
Bob E
