On the NCL ships with the free style dinning is there just one big show in the show lounge?
If so what time are the shows?

It depends on the shows. For some of them there is an early show and a later show -- perhaps 7:30 and 9:30. For others there may just be one show - perhaps 8 p.m. They will all be listed each day in the Freestyle daily.

The times when the dining room is really busy is right after the show. That's when they often give out the little "beepers". It takes some time to seat everyone as they pour out after the show. We find that if we want to eat late after the show -- we're better off to go for a drink or a stroll around the deck for a half hour, then we can usually walk right in.

In my experience, before the show isn't that much of a problem because people still arrive at staggered times.

On the NCL Sky this week, the single showtime was at 830pm, the double showtimes were 730pm and 900pm. Hope this helps!

Just back from the Jewel and we had the best entertainment of any ship we have been on. And I do believe this was #29. Believe me all of the entertainment from the Stardust theatre to the lounges,just great. More to come.
