I don't know how many of you have looked at NCL's new web site but it doesn't seem any better than the old one. For example, the excursion page is more colorful but there are not prices nor ways to order online. I could not find a way to order gifts online either.

Perhaps I'm just kinda dumb when it comes to things like this but IMHO they have NOT made it any easier.

I'd like to hear what others have to say about it.

Thanks,
Slouman

I've been having trouble even getting onto the website. I can get to the main page but most of the things I click on after that give me the "page not found" error.

I was trying to get on to print out the directions to the Port of Houston, but can't get to them. So much for not needing to save them on my computer becuase I can just get them from the webpage.

I assume the URL address of www.NCL.com is still correct?

Here's some directions to the Houston cruise terminal.

The Norwegian Dream will dock at the pier where the ship on the far left is located. From which Houston airport or direction will you be arriving?

Ron Clark:

I'm not going out of Houston. Perhaps you got my original post mixed up with another thread. I didn't need directions to the port. Should this reply be moved to somewhere else?

Slouman.. Ron was probably replying to my question above.

Thanks for the directions Ron! I have been looking in the past (when I could get the directions off of the site) on google maps and google earth and that was the ONLY building in the area that I could imagine being the cruise terminal. But your post confirms it. We will be driving in. With you confirming the location, I can get there now. We will be coming in from I-10, take the Sam Houston Beltway south to the Pasadena Fwy (225) and then to HWY 146 which gets us to your first picture.

Thanks again Ron. Not sure whats up with NCL's website. I assume they know about it and are working on it. Seems like bits and pieces are coming back so it appears they are working on it.

Yes I am ! ThumbUp Actually I think I have been in vacation mode since last Friday. We packed everything except bathroom items by Sunday afternoon and we are in wait mode.

My sister (this will be her first cruise) is beyond excited. I'll be taking lots of pictures and will write a review when I get back.

Ok, I finally got to see NCL's new website. I think it is better than the old one. It is arranged more like the other cruise lines' pages which makes it easier to find what you want if you are used to them (which I am)

So overall, I like it better because it is more to what I am used to. However, I'm not sure all the kinks are out as I could not register. But I don't know if that is because I may already be registered on the old site or not..

In any case, I like it better.

Hi Slouman. I've come across the new website as well and found it to be useless! It seems to me like a work in progress and NCL were keen to get it online before they had sorted out all the kinks.

I was trying to find an Eastern Mediterranean itinerary which I saw on the old site just over a week ago but it doesn't seem to be on the new one. I would hate to think that they have deleted such a fantastic itinerary from their schedule.

I just tried registering on the site and put in last my cruise dates (September 9th 2006) and got an error message: Please be advised, sailing records are kept for up to 12 years. This site definitely needs more cooking to be ready!
