Clynnjones, two places must close when the ship is in port (this applies to all cruise ships): the casino and the shops. It's also possible that only some of the different dining venues will open, but you will always find a place to eat and an open bar.

Yes, there's plenty of activities to do, eat and drink still although some areas are closed until the ship gets underway again. The ship is far less crowded and there's no waiting lines.

We never believed, how many people decide to stay on board and never leave the ship. So almost everything is open and they are also offering several activities, behalve casino and shops. So it is never boring, staying on board. Best regards, Marita
