We were just on the Norwegian Sun in August. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. At first I thought it was pretty ineffective and then I realized it had two speeds. (duh) On the high speed it seemed just fine. Perhaps for very long or thick hair you may want your own, but otherwise, it's one less thing you'll need to pack. Hope this helps.

Hi mburr, and welcome to cruise-chat. NCL does not allow pax to bring liquor onboard. We had a discussion on this topic in this thread, which also includes a link to the official NCL policy. I'd suggest asking your question in this other thread, or starting a new one specific to your question, as those with experiences to share might not open one on hairdryers.

Take your own hair dryer - the NCL builtin was lame. Also the water is very soft so take gel or mousse. I had 7 bad hair days.
