You're lucky you are missing the the 'Noreaster. Go to The NOAA website and you can acutal click on the ocean to get readings from the weather buoys. Or, just show up, wing it and have a good time.

I can't help you with the weather.

But, here's a few tips for the Spirit.

You have got to check out all the Asian art in the stairways and main corridors. Check out the Galaxay of the Stars, and the Bridge Observatory underneath. Check out Maharini's Lounge in front of the casino with a very strange decor.
If the main pool area is too crowded and noisy for you, check out the aft pool area. The Spirit has a great public area on it's stern.

I can help you with the weather Smile

http://www.opc.ncep.noaa.gov/ is a good link to have if you cruise.

Here is what all the stuff says for Sunday...
average sea state along the east coast is 3 to 6 feet or leass and that goes from NYC to FL Keys out to Bermuda. Winds will be SE 10 to 15 knots.

Hope this helps you out and have fun.. I will be cruising the Spirit next month. Cant wait to hear about your experience.

wierd couldnt edit the post so added this one...

here is the forcast map for sunday and will self update for monday and so on.

The wave hieghts are given in meters so figure multiplying by 3 to figure out feet. Wind barbs (those lines with little lines on them) show direction and speed. Each little line is 10knts or close to 10 mph if the little line is smaller then the one above it it is half speed (ie 5knts or 5mph)
