Know we may be a little too excited and jumping the gun but we would like our e-docs, even though it is four months + to cruise date.(5 May Istanbul - Barcelona)
Any idea how long they take? - we paid in full begin December.
Needless to say we are first time cruisers so the enthuisiasm is running pretty high, and we just want something tangible to ogle!
Any ideas??

I would think it would be around a month prior, but keep trying your download button. Once they've completed them, you should be able to download them.

Usually your documents aren't ready until 30 days before your sailing date....NCL will send out a packet with your luggage tags, excursions booklet and some cruising hints....This is the first time in 12 cruises with NCL that I will have the E-docs myself....NCL indicated that I would get a notification in E-mail when I can go in and download the Docs....Hope this helps...it will be the first time for E-docs for me too....Have a grand first time cruise...You will back for many more...

We paid up our NCL cruise on the Gem about 3 months ago and our EDocs were made available 75 days prior to the cruise departure date. Fear not - you will get them in time. Interestingly enough-we received our baggage tags by snail mail about 2 days later! (The Edocs contain a reprintable baggage tag - of dubious quality)!!

With the ugly baggage tags, we've put clear packing tape on them to keep them from tearing....I guess they are just trying to cut costs anyway they can....Happy Sailing...

I did the pre-reg. thingy all went will with that, then went into another site and printed off what I am hoping is our e-docs. doesn't really make it clear if your doing e-docs or just giving NCL more information, but it had the cheapo baggage tags and about 12 pages of info. so am hoping this is what everyone is referring to as edocs. if not what should I be doing to actually get the e-docs? Down to 2 1/2 weesk for NCL Pearl panama canal 19day cruise. WooHoo so very excited
Thanks for any help Bob and Lisa you two are so helpful, also everyone else who answers all of my many ?'s LOL

NCL e-mailed us to advise e-docs were ready right after the final payment due date for the cruise. Our on-line TA also e-mailed us. We booked a guaranty and were assigned a cabin at that point, so I don't know if choosing a specific cabin makes the e-docs available earlier or not. I had already filled in the registration particulars (some of it they already had from previous cruise). Then last week I got a package with the luggage tags and another reminder that the e-docs were ready to download.
