My wife and I are going on the Norwegian Spirit on March 4, 2005. On previous cruises we booked out flights from Chicago to Miami through the travel agent as one package for flight and cruise. I think we can get airfare to Miami far cheaper by booking ourselves. The only increase in cost would be getting from the airport to the ship. Does anyone know how much that is from the airport to the ship? Thanks.

Not sure about the cost of a taxi, but I know that SuperShuttle offers direct service from the airport to the port at $9 per person.

If you go Google and look up Miami Airport (or MIA) you should get an official web site for the airport. The airport site should have links detailing all of the transportation options you can use to get from the airport to the cruise ship port.
