My Husband and I went on that same cruise for our Honeymoon in June of 05. I was worried too when we read the reviews, but it was our first cruise and we found nothing wrong with the cruise at all. Freestyle dinning fit into our lifestyle. We would go on the ship again in a heartbeat. When you read reviews remember the 3-11 rule. For every good experience people will tell 3 people, for every bad experience people will tell 11. These are averages of course and the concept applies to all things. The ship is the smallest of NCL, but it had a lot of fun packed in. Just remember your trip is what you make of it. Don't worry about what other people say. Some just like to complain no matter what. Happy Travels. Carolyn.

We were on the Crown in April 2006 for its repositioning from Valparaiso to Phillie. It was comfortable, clean, great value and great fun. cje19 hit the nail on the head and one year after her cruise, the situation remains as she described.

Dear CruiseMK the crown is a lovely ship. i used to work on her and she is an intimate, smaller but beautiful ship. the bistro is beautifully located and the bar right next to it has a great view on the pool deck. try to avoid the usual dining times that everybody always uses... instead, hit the bar for a drink before dinner, enjoy the lounges and the music in it...then stroll down to dinner... she is a great ship. smooth sailing Cheers Philipp
