Well, I'm about the pull the trigger on booking my Norwegian Gem cruise... I was dragging my feet until a deal came along, and it finally did! I have a courtesy hold on an oceanview room for March 7, 2009... the itinerary is Bahamas and Florida, leaving from NYC. I just hope the itinerary won't be a let down because our last cruise hit seven ports. It actually was a little long (12 days) in terms of the insanity that we returned to at our workplaces, so maybe it'll be nice to have a more laid back schedule. Any thoughts on the Gem or Bahamas/Florida itineraries?
Thanks!
Cort

Cortney-The Gem is a fantastic ship with a great crew, fantastic service, tasty restaurants and a cool bowling alley. The cruise out of NYC to the Bahamas is a fun way to get away. We did the Gem in January and truly enjoyed her. Our Bahamas adventure will be in the early Fall 2009.
All right, we did it! Booked today. March 7 seems far away now!
