My family and I are going on the 16 February cruise out of Charleston to the Western Caribbean. I've read quite a few reviews about Majesty. I understand that it is a smaller, older ship. The first cruise we took a few years ago was on Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas which was brand new, huge and we had a great time. I imagine we will still have a great time on this smaller, more intimate ship, but I am concerned that my children, all four of them are teenagers, might get bored during the days at sea. Anyone know much about Majesty's offerings for the younger crowd?
Thanks,

Welcome to Cruise-Chat! Any ship that is the only ship sailing from a port becomes a ship that draws a wide demographic. All ages will be well represented and there will be plenty of teens onboard. I don't think boredom will be an issue for anyone. Go have a great cruise and post us a review when you get back. Would love to hear your thoughts on the ship and experience.
Hi BondCruiser007, and welcome to cruise-chat.com.
I agree with Neil. I've been on Norwegian Majesty a few times when she was the only ship sailing out of Boston, and there was most definitely a wide demographic. As you are going during President's Week, when many schools are out, there will almost certainly be many families onboard. The teens tend to hang out together... I've often seen them by the pool or -- believe it or not -- in the conference room playing cards or board games!
Have fun on my N. Majesty...she's a favorite ship of mine.
