MY CRUISE TO BEREMUDA LEAVES ON SUNDAY, MAY 25TH, AND I WAS WONDERING WHETHER OR NOT TO WEAR A JACKET/COAT. I FEEL THE CHILL EASILY AND WAS WONDERING WHETHER SEASONED CRUISERS FELT IT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO WEAR A WINTER JACKET WHEN ON THE OCEAN. WHILE I KNOW EVERYONE'S BODY TEMP IS DIFFERENT, I WOULD APPRECIATE HEARING FROM THOSE WHO ARE NORMALLY COLD WHEN IT FALLS BELOW 65! THANK YOU.
Hi BEACHLOVER1,my husband and I will be on your cruise we are taking a light jacket with us and I am taking a sweater I'm thinking we might need it so better to be safe then sorry hope to meet you on the ship! HAPPY CRUISING VITA
I always take a sweater and a light weight jacket with me. Usually because the public areas on the ship are cold to me. Of course, I freeze when it's below 90, so I always need some type of jacket or sweater. Best wishes for a fantastic cruise!
It'll probably be cool on deck until you reach Bermuda & if you're anything like my wife you'll also need a light weight jacket in the show lounge each evening.
A winter jacket will most likely be too much. I'd suggest layers, including a windbreaker to wear on top. And, as others have mentioned, a light sweater for the show lounges and dining rooms might come in handy. To save packing room, this might also serve as one of your layers.
I always take a windbreaker and a long sleeve shirt. It can get cool on the open decks at night and in the show lounges. A winter jacket would be too much for this time of year.
Best wishes for a wonderful cruise!

We have learned after many years of cruising to always pack a windbreaker, a sweater,a rain poncho and a sweatshirt for our cruises. The wind across a deck can always bring a cold, damp chill to any voyage.
Thanks so much to everyone for your responses. I will take your advice. Vita, I hope to meet you and your husband also. Ron, bite your tongue--that's a four letter word (rain). I'm really starting to get excited and can't wait to go! Linda
Bermuda is the one island that I really miss not going to any more since we moved to Florida. Next to Hawaii it's probably the most beautiful place to visit.

Yes, to cruise fas, it is. But, a good boy or girl scout should always be prepared.
Hi BEACHLOVER1,I found a web site that gives the seven day forcast for Bermuda and it does not call for rain next Wednesday and a high of 68 overcast they have had rain for the last few days so hopefully we will miss it!The website is www.weatherforyou.com in case you want to check it out.
