We were on the Jewel last year and really enjoyed the fish and chips. Leaving on the Sun in a few weeks, anyone know if they serve those english style fish and chips?
We had the fish and chips on the Jewel too...did you put vinegar on them??? I don't know about the Sun....they didn't have them when I sailed a few years ago....I'm on the Pearl in 74 days and will look for the fish and chips there...Have a great cruise...
Hi ColoradoCruiser I was on the Sun this past August and they did have an option for fish and chips with "mushy peas" (apparently quite an English dish)one day. I had it and it was very good. They provide a malt vinegar with this meal. I'm not crazy about the malt vinegar and they found some white vinegar for me. (The staff was very accommodating)
I liked the fish without the vinegar but my wife loved the malt vinegar on them. I thought I read somewhere that they were avalible at the sports bar on the Sun but have been unable to confirm that. Maybe i'll just have to spend some time there. Its a tough job doing research like that but I guess someones gotta do it!
