We are disembarking in Vancouver at the end of a repositioning cruise and I was wondering if our luggage can stay in the "holding area" (if there is such a thing) at the cruise dock. We are planning a day trip in Vancouver and we can't check into our hotel until later that afternoon. Does anyone know if it's possible to leave your luggage there and come back for it later or is that not a good idea. Also, does anyone know what is the earlist you can get on the ship prior to embarking. Our cruise sails at 7pm, but we're planning to be in LA early afternoon. Thanks in advance.

Julie, you might ask your hotel if they will keep your luggage at the bell desk for you until you can check in. Many hotels offer that kind of service, though you usually have to ask.
