I am going on the norwegian spirit 9/24 to 9/30/06 to florida and bahama's. My husband, myself and my nine children ranging from 4 to 18. Will there be enough things on the cruise for the older teenagers 14, 16, 17 and 18? Will the excursion be fun enough to enjoy ourselves. I keep hearing mixed review and nothing about my older children's ages to do for fun? Any teenage things/clubs to do for the 17 and 18 year old? Will other teens be on the ship? Is there a basketball court like the people told me? I want to eat ALL together, sitting together on the diners that are included? is that possible? or will the separate us. what excursions will be fun for us all and not boring or a waste of time? Will they let our 4 and 6 year old snorkel? they are great swimmers. so many things i have to ask. Thank you.
I wouldn't worry about teenagers finding something to do. Excursions are always fun, even when it rains and your out in it. Yes, there will be other teens aboard, but not as many as you'll see during June, July, and August. Yes, there is a basketball court on the Spirit, as well as table tennis tables. Yes, you can eat together at nearby tables. Most tables, if not all, aboard the Spirit sit 8 or less, so you'll find it difficult to get all of them at one table.
