For some reason the thread seems to have disappeared, but this is my response to the thread "Woman Overboard".

Specualtion.....speculation....speculation.....

In the United States we have some of the best law enforcement and forensic analysis than in most countries. The F.B.I. is one of the best known of these law enforcement agencies and were immediately contacted/notified and they have and still "are" conducting an investigation. If there is "no" criminal activity, then the F.B.I. will not release any statements as the tragedy will be considered an accident.

Why speculate over what the boyfriend did or did not do. It's all judgemental, but does make interest for more posts here. The posts here are no different than the sensationalism exhibited by Fox news and other news agency.

The bottom line is that NCL was totally cooperative, notified the authorities immediately and had security surveilence to end any doubt of what happened. We should all be thankful for that. I am sure that many other cruise ships are either equipped with this technology or will add this technology to the ships out at sea.

One thing for sure, I know the posters here will not try to climb from one balcony to another. The poor lady made a major mistake, and paid dearly. I can only feel very sorry to the immediate family for this tragic loss.

I am sure this will not be the last person to fall off or jump ship. This situation seems more prominent in the news than ever before. Many problems go undedected that happen on cruise ships. If you the cruiser think this situation is concerning, then you may want to visit the following website which posts incidents of theft, rape, and other major problems that take place on cruise lines. I have posted about these issues before. Certainly any cruiser should be aware of the possiblity of major crimes that happen on cruise ships that we the cruiser never hear about. This website will open your eyes. Enjoy your cruise, but be aware that incidents of criminal activity does and can take place.

Hopefully no moderator will remove this informative and eye opening website. The more you read the information the more shocking it is.

The link had to be removed since it violated our Terms Of Service. The link originally posted has advertising, it's own forum, solicits advertising, and is itself sensationalistic and speculative .

As for the original thread, it is located here. It was moved since it really has nothing to do with NCL.

I'll now close this one. Please continue in the original thread.
