After a 5 day cruise on the Norwegian Sun, to Costa Maya and Cozumel, I'm convinced that free-style cruising is a great way to go. We picked our own times to eat and what shows to attend. We even made our own tour and car rental reservations online before we left and everything went off without a hitch.

The Sun had just come out of dry dock and was in wonderful shape. The crew was awesome... the food was awesome... the shows were outstanding.

We did an early check-in and an early check-out. The check-out turned out to be not so early because of the river being crowded at a narrow turn and we had to wait over an hour to to pass through. Not the cruise lines fault.

We'll do another free-style cruise as soon as possible.
