Islander I believe Raoul is correct. This section is new on this site so it stands to reason that it is slow right now. I know I have started mentioning this section of the site to others and they were not aware that it is here. Most people in the past have thought of this web site for the reviews only. With the number of reviews that get posted once people notice this portion of the site I have no doubt that it will turn into a very good and valuable addition the Cruise Reviews.

This is turning out to be a great website, please forgive my haste in judgement, I had no idea the site was so new. Good things come in time. Congrats to the developer!

Hi Islander!
No problem - don't worry about that. Good to see that you like the forums. We thought it was about time to offer some additional features, but as we do all this as a hobby only, it does take more time for us to develop things.
Just back from the Silver Shadow and getting ready to head down to Mexico surfing (YIPEEE) and thought I would comment on Cruise-Chat.com.
The site is about 5 weeks old now and currently has 286 members and appears to be growing nicely. Many of us believe in the non-commercial aspect of the Internet and CruiseReviews.com is an excellent example of quality information being available without bias or commercial interest.
Cruise-chat.com is of the same standard. It will be what it becomes and what we make of it and nothing else.
Please notice that there is no advertising of any kind nor are there any links to other commercial sites. Most discussion boards count on banner ads for their income and aggressively promote their sites. Cruise-Chat.com is simply a place folks can post their ideas and questions without the fear of being sold something and also express their true opinions and experiences. While there are moderators for certain forums, this site is bascically unmoderated in that there is no approval process for the messages. They are posted as they are submitted.
So if you like the format of Cruise-Chat.com share the word with other cruisers because that is the only way this site will grow to become what it will become. If you don't like it or think it can be improved, don't be afraid to say so. That is how we all learn.
