Ok folks sailing tomorrow.. going to be onboard by 1:30 or so.. anyways... I just got the latest High Seas forcast for the time period 24 to 96hrs. What does 14 foot seas on sailing day and 25knt winds do? Would they bypass Bermuda in favor of traveling "inshore" more and straight to the Carribean? The weather calms down after the 24 to 36hr period droping to a measilly 3 feet and light varible winds.

Would they delay sailing? I am sooo nervous now. Any advise will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys and galsSmile

If it's any help Jude, our last sail we traveled in near gale winds with 12' seas, and you could barely feel the pitch or roll. I would have never guessed seas were that big if not for the "report from the bridge" that is broadcast continuously.

I can tell you for sure they will not delay the sailing. 25 kt wind is nothing.

Oh thank God. Thanks so much guys. Im not really concerned with the pitch and roll so much as delays or missed ports. Will make for some good photos though.. seas will be hitting us my side so I should have some nice shots.

Thanks again guys and gals and see you in April 30th with a full writeup.
