odd question, I know. But does the Jewel have soft serve ice cream/yogurt on the pool deck (free)? We have cruised with RCL 5 times, and this will be our first time w/NCL. Kids are wondering. Its one of their favorite parts of the cruise.

I can't report what the Jewel will have because I have never sailed on her, but usually NCL's ice cream is hand packed and not self serve.

Those self serve soft ice cream machines make a mess and are great at spreading germs and viruses around.

When we were on the Jewel, they had ice cream on the pool deck for about an hour or so each day...they served it with all the trimmings...Chocolate sauce, strawberries, etc....We are on the Pearl this time and hope they have it there too....Enjoy the Cruise..

Been on the Jewel.......Ron Clark is correct....NCL Jewel Ice Cream is hand packed with a usual choice of 4 to 6 flavors and all the goodies to go along with it. The kids will certainly enjoy the treats.

Berick1234.....Pearl has hand packed ice cream in the Garden Buffet....it's great as I have eaten enough of it to know.
