Question: Help!
We are on the Wind for April 01 cruise-Hawaii. My question is there is an excursion offered by NCL throu Trilogy it is the one where you go to Lanai for the day. The NCL rate for this is 249.00 per person. I don't have a problem with this but they are charging the same rate for children. Through Trilogy direct it is 179.00 per person and half price for the kids! It seems pretty straight forward to me but my concern of course is being able to get there on time etc. The ships itenary says leaving at 9:45 am Trilogy says it starts at 10:00. Opinions please....Is the cruise line going to let people off the ship that are booked through them first? Ship says it is in Maui at 8:00 am however I want to double check with others....Thanks

slyon,

There should be alot of excursions with water related. And the cruises do take to heart that your excursions start that early. The boat sould arrive at your destination at 9:00 or earlier but they should start letting passengers off exactly 9:45 or if you are lucky earlier! If it is tendering you might have a problem.

Tendering is on Lahaina side.

And Lahaina is where you'll be if you're going to Lanai. Cruise lines generally do tend to give priority to those booked on their own shore excursions, as far as who gets off the ship first.

You may want to contact Trilogy to see what their policy is re: cancellation/no shows/unable to get there on time.
