Are the dress code expectations the same for children? Could my seven year old wear a nice (not t-shirt) and jeans?

It has gotten so anyone can wear a nice shirt and jeans.....Formality is kind of a dying duck.
On formal night on the Pearl, most were in casual dress....I wore a sports coat and felt very comfortable in doing so....Just NO SHORTS for anyone...Happy sailing... Bob E |

Dress suggestions for kids are typically the same as adults, so what you described is fine for NCL, so long as the jeans are not tattered. Enjoy your cruise! |
