Cruise Commodore

Hi! I'm sorry your cruise has been cancelled and that you have not received a refund, yet. However, the accident on the "Norway" happened only five weeks ago (not two months!) and please keep in mind that NCL has to make arrangements for approximately 38,000 people (19 cancelled cruises) to get their money back. This simply takes some time. This is unfortunate for each individual traveler, but this is not because the cruise line is not willing to give you the money back, but because there are so many people and they cannot process all cases within a couple of weeks. This has happened to me before, as well (not with NCL), and it took a couple of months until I got the money back. Best regards, Raoul Fiebig Das Ruderhaus

I am sorry that you have to pay so many people back but that is not my problem it is yours. And this is very poor business.I asked to be put on another ship but I would have to pay alot more money. You should of done this with out any questions asked you owe us at least that!I have already lost 150.00 from our airline tickedt because we had to cancell. So now we have a vacation comming you have all my money and I am down at least 150.00 and i have not even gone anywhere yet.PRETTY SAD IF YOU CANT PUT US ON ANOTHER SHIP THEN PAY US OUR MONEY BACK SO I CAN BOOK WITH SOMEONE ELSE Or should i go in my backyard and pick some money off of my tree.

Depape, Raoul doesn't work for NCL nor does he speak for them. He was just trying to offer a reasonable explanation as to why it is taking so long. When you think about it, he is absolutely correct.
Try having your travel agent intervene on your behalf. They should be able to resolve the standoff.
Sorry this has happened to you.
