New Cruiser

Hello again,

on Semptember 23rd my father will celebrate his 60th birthday.
He plans a holiday on a cruise ship in the Mediterrean Sea.
Now I read something about that the british enterprise Thomson has bought the Nieuw Amsterdam III and let it cruise cruise through the Mediterrean Sea.
Have you also heard something about this?
How can I book at Thomson's?
It would be very nice to see my father travelling on this ship because he was a crew member of the Nieuw Amsterdam II in the late 1960's.

Please help!

Michael

Hello Michael,

the former "Nieuw Amsterdam" has been renamed "Thomson Spirit" and is operated by Thomson Cruises, which is a UK affiliate of the TUI Group. I'm not sure whether it is possible to book Thomson Cruises in Germany, but you should be able to book via a UK Travel Agency.

Thomson Cruises' web site is http://www.thomsonbeach.co.uk/th/cruise/getHomePageCruise.do
