We have been able to secure 2 options on an Alaskan cruise in August/Sept 2006 we can go Zuiderdam on an upper verandah deck with a balcny cabin sailing from Vancouver or the Oosterdam same cabin but one deck lower, leaving Seattle same itinery for both. We are traelling with teenagers and children. The Zuiderdam is 2400 dollars more expensive, is it worth the extra will pay if it is as thisis a very special trip we are taking our son who has special needs any help much appreciated thank you

I'd save the money and go with Oosterdam, if everything else is the same except the ship and the deck.
