Hi, we are booked on HAL Statendam for the San Diego to Fort Lauderdale Panama Canal cruise in Oct 08. Any suggestions for shore excursions? We enjoy snorkeling, touring interesting areas, a little shopping, nothing tooooo strenuous, but short hikes are ok, Thanks for any help!

Hi mrpw, welcome to Cruise Chat. If you'll look a little further down on the main page, there is a section for Caribbean Port Chat and general Port Chat section that may have some ideas for you. You can use your Find feature, in the upper left hand corner, and type in your port(s) of interest. It will pull up all posts made about that port. I went to HAL's site to see what ports of call you were visiting, but wasn't sure which sailing. Hopefully, someone has been on your itinerary and can suggest some things to you as well.
