We are going to be on the Zuiderdam. We booked a Cat. H guarantee. I was notified that we got an upgrade to a Cat. G. Cabin 41111. How much better is that. Thanks for any info, or even better if anyone has pictures. Once again Thank You

DEM, I think you moved from an obstructed view cabin to a room in between lifeboats, so your view is now not obstructed.

Thanks Sandy. I was hoping a little bit better, but something is better than nothing. Can't be too greedy

Trust me, You'll love not having to look at the lifeboat.... the one time we had an obstructed view, not only did we get see the boat, we also got to see a crew member cleaning and painting it. Although it is true that any cabin on a ship at sea is better than no cabin on no ship at sea ~ Happy Sailing!

I hope you aren't the lady whose husband said she came out of the bathroom naked to find workmen cheering outside their balcony window.
And I thought those things only happened to me Smile

Nope - wasn't me... but it is a reminder that if I ever do book a balcony or an outside cabin that fronts the promenade, that I need either keep the drapes pulled or keep the clothes on!
