We've been to Rome several times and are considering a different tour. The cruise line offers one tour to Tarquuinia & Tuscania and one to the Catacombs & Appian Way. Any recommendations?

I've been to the catacombs and there really isn't that much to see. Also, you aren't allowed to take photos or video of the site at all. It is very claustrophobic underground it just wasn't the tour for me.

If you are ambitious, rent a car in Civitavecchia and visit Pitigliano and/or Civita de Bagnoreggio. They are both medieval cities with alot to see.

It is very easy to get in and out of Civitavecchia as it is not a big city.
