Hi all, we are now booked on the Oosterdam in June for Alaska. We have a VF category veranda. Do they have refrigerators in these rooms?

On the cabin descriptions it only shows refrigerators in the Cat PS, Penthouse suites. No mention of them in other categories.

What you will have in the cabin is the fridge packed with the soda's and other things they would like for you to buy. Be careful with this as when you take there Items out keep them in site as the bar person comes to the cabins and will bill you for items that they do not see. this happened to me and I had to track down the bar people in charge to get them removed from the shipboard account.

That is true of the cabins that have refrigerators, but according to the description in the HAL brochure, the catagory VF cabins on Oosterdam do not have refrigerators. Only the catagory PS suites have them.

A bucket of ice will go a long way but I would advise you not to submerge the cheese.

If I'm not mistaken all cabins (maybe not indide ones) on the Vista ships have refrigerators - small bar type ones.
It's not only the PS that have them, we have been in an SY,SS, S and a VA and they had all had one. On the other classes of ships, S, & R, only PS, S, A & B (verandah cabins) have fridges. |
