What is the earliest one can board HAL ships leaving San Diego for the Sea of Cortez? I have heard the Port of San Diego will not allow passengers onboard until after One PM. Is this true? Usually on Hal cruises we board around 11:30.

We were on the Carnival Spirit out of San Diego in Feb and Oct of last year. Both times we started boarding around 11. The HAL Zaandam was next to us in Feb and she started boarding at the same time.
We are thinking of doing your cruise next year. When you get back please let us know hoe you liked it.
