Does anyone know what the situation looks like for hotels pre or post cruise next week-end in Fort Lauderdale and Miami? Should I make reservations at both places? Any suggestions? I already have one in Fort Lauderdale, but at this time they are not open. Sugestions?

From what I read the situation in Miami is better than in Fort Lauderdale, but now that both ports and airports are operatatonal it looks like things are slowly returning to normal. Have you checked the website for your hotel? Many of them are posting storm related updates, which might help you make a decision.
