Free parking in NYC is very hard, if not impossible, to come by -- but I can help you with the safe part. Adjacent to the cruise terminal is a large parking garage... click HERE for rates and HERE for directions and map. We've cruised out of NYC several times, along with friends/family, and have never had a problem parking here.

I'm happy to offer other tips. Are you interested in NYC, the ship, or both? And are there any specifics you are interested in?

Hi, I am leaving on 3-21 from NYC port.. I would love to be able to park next to port..we have been able to do it before.. here is my concern for this trip.. there will be two ships out .. and one mine coming in .. so 3.. with one that will have some cars leave.. of course..How likely are we to get a spot? If we were there by say 9 am.. or if you say sooner we can be.. would we be able to get a spot with someone from our ship leaving? I am soo afraid to get there and not be able to find a place to park.. would scare the life out of me.. thank you for your help
