We have an Alaska cruise in May and need information on hotels in Seattle. Are there hotels near the port? Would we be better off staying "downtown" or in a tourist district? Any suggestions. Thanks,

Hi caseyg55 - We are going on an Alaskan Cruise in May as well. I did some research and found a LaQuinta near the port in downtown Seattle. I was impressed with the rates $109.00/night and the reviews on trip advisor were good. It was close to Pike's Market as well.
Hope this helps...this is where we will be staying.
