We are on the Diamond Princess northbound Jul 19 -26 then three days on land. We were just notified that our hotel assignment in Fairbanks is the Bear Lodge, not the Princess lodge by the river as we thought it would be. Checking online, it looks like a nice place but it's on the north side of town. Anybody have any experience with this place?
