We are cruising in October 2008. We plan to spend a couple of days in Miami before the cruise. We are travelling with our two young teenagers. Can anyone recommend a good hotel for a family to spend a couple of nights in Miami? We will probably have a rental car to get around so airport transfers are not important.

The Holiday Inn-Port of Miami. You can park the car and walk right across the street to Bay Side Market for activities. It is within walking distance to other activities. You can also use the people mover.
