My wife and I will be needing transportation to Ft. Lauderdale after debarkation from the Miami Port in Spring, 2007. We are flying out of Lauderdale, and are wondering what is the best way to get there from Port of Miami after getting off the Valor. We will be booking a hotel in the Fort Lauderdale area to stay the night after we arrive back at port, thus not catching a plane until the day after the cruise. Does anyone know of a hotel in the FT. Lauderdale area that provides a shuttle from the Port of Miami to their hotel??? Yes, this is a stretch, I know. But you never know what may be available. Thanks.
I think I have been able to figure out the answer. Carnival has a excursion (apparently a bus) that we can take from Miami Port to FFL. Also, thanks to other folks on this site, there are several shuttles services we can take, which may be less money than the excursion.
What hotel did you book in Ft. Lauderdale? Did you see any of my posts about the water taxi, it really is a great way to see Ft. Lauderdale. Best wishes and have a wonderful time!
