My wife and I are going on the Golden Princess cruise Nov 10 returning Nov 22. We're looking for a shuttle between the Port and the airport. Taxis and vans are very expensive. does anyone know of a direct shuttle between the two at a reasonable price?

a direct shuttle is not available - therefore

taxi 150 EUR
limo-service 120 EUR (google: Rome Airport Transfer Civitavecchia)

by train with transfer in ROMA TERMINI.

Have a look here.

But finally: have you asked PRINCESS if they provide a service of their own?

Try www.airportconnection.it. cost me 65 euros to go from fiumicino airport to rome via van, i don't know the rate from airport to port..good luck... Angel Cool

It's much more than 65 EUR as Civitavecchia is approx. 50 miles away from Rome.

Go and check the website of Costa Cruises.

They write:

For cruise guests arriving in ROME by airplane there is a train transfer service from the Fiumicino airport to the Roma Termini train station. From here you can proceed to Civitavecchia by train. Alternatively, you can reach the port by taxi at a cost of approx. Euro 150. We recommend that you verify and agree upon the price with the driver in advance.


and if you start to google: you cannot get any transfer between airport and port less than 120 EUR.

Last year Princess provided transportation to the airport around $65 each , I am sure this is a good deal when you see the other prices. I would contact your agent and book it !!!
