I posted this in the Carnival forumn also since this is a Carnival cruise, but...

The flights I had booked (not through Carnival) get us in the day before (which is safer in my book anyway) the cruise. So I need a hotel in Vancouver. Anyone care to give a recommendation on a hotel (maybe one that provides a shuttle to the cruise terminal? i don't want to spend a bunch of money, but don't want to stay at the Motel 6 either. Trying to find a hotel on a travel web site brings up a gazzilion hotels and not knowing where anything is in Vancouver, it is confusing.

Ok.. I'll answer my own post. I booked a holiday inn express near the cruise terminal that claimed to provide free Shuttle to the terminal. I figured that would at least save one cab fair. When we return, I'll post a review of the hotel.
