Renting a car will be cheaper than taking a taxi everywhere. Try Alamo or Hertz.

We've rented with Enterprise and Budget and the rates vary from $89-$129 for a compact depending on the time of the year. What I did was drop my hubby off at the port with the luggage, returned the car to the airport, and caught a cab back to the port. The fare from the airport to the port is around $10. Hope this helps!
