I am going on an Alaskan cruise out of Vancover, British Columbia. Can you recommend lodging near the airport and Ballantyne Terminal that is not too pricey? Not sure how far the airport is from the pier. Thanks

I can't recommend a place to stay, but I can recommend AGAINST a place to stay...The Sheraton Wall Centre...

We stayed there a night before our Alaskan cruise with two elderly parents (78 and 84), two kids (10 and 14), and my wife and me. While check in is at 3pm, we were not able to get into our rooms until after 6pm, and their attitude towards the inconvenience was unacceptable.

Nice accomodations, and maybe that day was an aberration, but a follow up letter and telephone call were ignored. I won't stay there again.
